This Riesling shows classic characteristics of apple and lime on both the nose and palate. With a refined minerality, a crisp acidity and a dry finish, it’s no wonder that Gaspereau Vineyards’ Rieslings have gained international recognition.
Baco Noir produces a light to medium bodied red wine with very deep colour and explosive aromatic notes. It displays nuances of strawberry, blueberry and pepper, is very soft on the palate and has a long cherry finish.
Award-winning wine is made with four of Nova Scotia’s choicest grape varieties—Castel, Marechal Foch, Leon Millot, and Lucie Kuhlmann. Grown in a unique terroir which is created by the slope of the land, the warm waters of the Northumberland Strait (the warmest waters north of the Carolinas) and the lack of fog, the grapes are carefully selected and then fermented in their skins.
